Towards the end of January, Apple released iOS 14.4 for all iOS 13-compatible devices. While this update brings some new features to iOS devices, the most important reason for the update are the critical security patches to the operating system. Three critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2021-1780, CVE-2021-1871 and CVE-2021-1872) are patched in 14.4. One vulnerability was found in the operating system’s kernel. The other two were found in WebKit which powers Safari, Mail, App Store, and many other apps.
Please update your iOS devices immediately to receive these important security patches.
